![]() ![]() So im thinking this should be pretty good, I am probably on the right track to get all my case fan slots filled up to 5 instead of just the three I have in there right now. Thanks guys for the helpĪfter switching my front fan to pull air inwards my idle temp for the video card dropped 1 degree celsius for an idle of 43. Like I said before silence isnt an issue, if it blows hard then I want it in that case. So I will be buying new 80mm fans, if anyone has recommendations on those that would be great. You were right about no bottleneck though, overclocked the CPU to 2.8 smoothly but thats when I ran 3dmarks 06 and it froze up in the first stage. But then recently it happened in FC2, and another time in 3dmarks 06 (not the free edition) At first this issue only happened with an MMORPG that ran my card heavily working at an average 40-50 FPS with all settings maxed. ![]() I didnt upgrade the HDD and the cable only fits two IDE drives, so ive got my 250 GB and my DVD burner connected. I made sure when I upgraded my system to get a good enough PSU. But for now I will switch the front to blow inwards. I was thinking all inwards but the back and top, since heat rises. Ive got one fan slot in front, one on top in the middle of the case, one in the back, and 2 on the left side that would be blowing almost right onto the graphics card. If you could give me an idea of how the fans should be turned it would be great. Right I figured my fans were switched up wrong, the guy that helped me build my PC years ago recommended for the case to pull all outwards, but that was when I had 5 fans, because I have 5 slots. Thanks guys for the help in advance, y'all have never let me down. Do I need to take this thing back and get something else or do I just not have proper cooling? Would I be better off just paying for a nice 3rd party heatsink and fan? And if so, recommendations? My cooling is somewhat sub standard though, I have 3 80mm fans, one in the front and back blowing air outwards, and one sitting right below the video card blowing air directly onto it (this was done after the overheating in hopes to fix the issue) Should my fans all be blowing inwards? I also feel like this card is being bottle necked, or maybe its just the GSO part and I'm not as impressed as I wanted to be. One of those games is FC2 which was bundled with the card. Is that too hot for this card? I have had two games put my card under load and my system just freezes up, forcing a hard restart. Idle the temp runs about 44 celsius, and under load it can reach up to 55 celsius. So I got this FC2 edition of the GeForce 9600. ![]()
